In my twenties, my beloved dog, Aussie, got lost. We lived out in the country and I intended to drop her off at the vet’s in town for her yearly shot, but they weren’t open yet. I was going to be late for work and my two children in the back seat would be late for school. So, I did the next best thing and dropped her off at my grandmother’s house there in the city. We lived fifteen miles from town and I didn’t have time to go home and back again.
After school, when I picked up my kids and went to get Aussie, my grandmother told me she’d opened the gate to her fenced yard and Aussie accidentally got out. So my Aussie was out running around all day in a strange town.
My children and I drove around and around the rest of the afternoon calling for Aussie. She was nowhere to be found. The sun was setting, and supper, homework, baths were waiting. I told the kids we have to get home and would have to wait until the next afternoon before we could resume the search.
Tears began to flow from the backseat accompanied by frequent sobs. This was a moment I would never forget. I prayed, holding back my own tears, “Dear God, where is she?” My eyes were closed but suddenly I saw her standing in the Masonic Lodge parking lot looking around. I told the kids that we were going to look one more place before we had to go home. I drove to the Masonic Lodge, and there she was!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! Aussie almost jumped through the window of the car before we got the door open. This was my first time I ever had a vision. At that point in my life, I didn’t even know what a “third eye” was. Since then, I’ve been developing my gift and helping others hear from their loved ones so the healing process can begin. It is such an honor to connect with the Other Side to remind everyone that you are not alone! They are always with us!
